At Commercial Electro Plating, we employed our zinc plating process to treat the steel tension springs shown here. These 9" x 3" springs are used in a variety of industries and applications. In line with our dedication to improvement and innovation in our industry, we are proud to showcase the use of our newest finish for this tension spring project, which features RoHS compliant gold finish.
We treated 700 of these tension springs for our customer in Fresno, California, holding 0.0003" - 0.0005" tolerances. A project of this size has a turnaround time of 2 - 3 days. Our production zinc plating process has been streamlined throughout the years, resulting in an efficient and cost effective product for our customers. This project was carried out while keeping to the highest standards for quality and accuracy, with both dimensional and visual inspections applied throughout.
